Vintage 1950s Bes-Ben Hat / Designer Handmade Hat Black Green Butterfly Moth Tooled Leather Painted Enamel Exquisitely strange and whimsical moth shaped cocktail hat in black leather cut out petals overlapping each other and studded with iridescent black beads. Over this are 5 white enamel, insect spot like shapes with green and black paint, and two more are in the front, upturned sections. There is a black, dotted veil descending down the front of the face. Interior has the iconic “Bes-Ben Made in Chicago ” label. Two haircombs keep it in place.
