Original 1920s ladies cloche hat. An original, beautifully embellished 1920s cloche. This is a truly exceptional cloche it is formed in hues of purple and lilac, velvet and faille. It is in an iconic cloche shape with a rounded crown, a low front brim and the back brim turned up. Segments of the crown alternate in velvet and faille in purple and lilac. A wide ribbon surrounds the crown and falls to a bow at the back. The original black lining is within. The front has and exceptional applique, with a myriad of bead types including bugle and seed. The decoration is in gold, silver, greys and mauves, it is truly stunning. In excellent vintage condition, with some age related ware to the nap of the velvet, clean and totally wearable.
