This wonderfully extravagant confection features black wool with a band of black iridescent feathers around the base of the crown and white (off white) feathers around the brim. His frivolous feathered creations are highly collectible today. If a Jack McConnell hat bears the label Styled by Jack McConnell New York with a red feather pinned under the label then it is a one of a kind McConnell original, designed by Jack McConnell himself and definitely influences the hats value.
