Late 1930s – 1940s Ladies waving wide brim picture hat. A beautifully shaped ladies late 1930s-40s wide brim picture hat in very fine black straw. A superb quality millinery piece from the Millinery Salon of’Joal’. This striking wide brim has that air of Hollywood glamour. The crown is very nicely shaped with a pink millinery rose sitting to the side at the front. Tulle netting waves in drapes around the entire brim which dips at the back and front. A grosgrain ribbon surrounds the crown and sits in a bow at the back. A pretty original pink hat pin sits prettily at the back. Ladies medium size, sitting to the top of the head so effectively one size. In excellent vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Please home in on all of our images for the finest of details.
