Original 1920s USA, ladies Cloche hat. Art Maid Philadelphia, USA. A ladies sophisticated cloche hat with incredible detailing. This is an very beautiful cloche from the top millinery house DHK’Art Maid’ of Philadelphia. The main body of the cloche is in a black woven sisal, pleated across the top to give the cloche a halo shaping. The brim is in black satin turned up to the back and low to the front. Satin leaves and other spirals and stripes adorn the sides and front, a rhinestone Deco hat flash sits to one side. The original lining has the milliners label embroidered within. It is pure Deco and wears superbly, an ultra stylish original cloche. Of a medium ladies head size, approx. In excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable.
