1910-20s, Edwardian ladies cloche hat. The images say it all, this is a truly exceptional cloche. The detailing and millinery skill displayed in this Edwardian cloche lets us know that a master of millinery craft has been at work. Constructed from many strands of ribbed silk ribbon joined at the crown with a handmade button rosette. The front is adorned with a superb piece of floral ribbon work, a collectors piece in its own right. There is a replacement lining as the original was completely shattered. Excellent vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Usual signs of age for a piece of this period, exceptional. Of a Medium size, approx.
