A lovely vintage 1920s straw cloche hat that has applied decoration in rose gold toned braid and warm toned silver braid. It is beautifully decorated by highly skilled hat makers. The hat has a Paige label inside. The hat fits me. The circumference of my head is 21 3/4 inches. A larger head than mine would not fit into this hat. However, if no one is going to wear it, size may not matter. It is a lovely hat to wear or display. There is a lost or loose stitch where the lining attaches close to the inside edge of the brim and one small edge fray of the lining. In bright light I can see one light stain about an inch and a half long by an inch wide inside the lining. The sheen of the lining and the lightness of the stain makes it impossible for me to show that in a photo. Otherwise the lining is in excellent shape. This is a gorgeous hat with a great label!
