This is a custom Bes-Ben jeweled fascinator hat with gold lame’ made in Chicago in the 1940’s or 1950’s for Marion Dixon Zaring, a Chicago socialite. Only a very limited bit of the original black netting is left. The hat is embellished with costume jewels (ruby, pearl, rhinestone) set in gold lame. A vintage hat pin is included.
