Light pink or mauve straw wide brim hat with lovely silk flowers randomly dotted with crystals. The hat still bears the price tag from then now defunct Rich’s department stores. Dates from the 1960’s. Although new with tags the hat is still around 50 years old. There are no damaged areas. Some light creasing in the crown which could be finger pressed out. The hat was gently & meticulously dusted, each flower or leaf with a microfiber cloth. The crown inside measures front to back 7 1/2”& side to side 6 3/8”. The brim is asymmetrical & measures 3 1/2” at the back. 5 1/8” at the front. 4 1/4” left side & 5 1/4” right side. Fantastic derby or church hat. Great hat for collectors as well. Determining Your Hat Size. Use a tape measure to determine the length. Place the tape around your head about 1/8 above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
