This is a fabulous vintage’40s black felt high-crowned fedora with a wide brim–the inside circumference measures approx. 21 3/8″, the brim at the front measures 5″ wide and tapers to 2 1/2 at the back. The crown is 4″ high at the front and 5″ at the side. The label: Sommer’s Hat Studio Milwaukee, Wis. Overall a stunning vintage’40s hat in superb condition–quite dramatic–has a great look of the World War II era–is clean and ready to wear. This style was popular from the late’30s through the mid’40s. THE LIGHTING HAS DISTORTED THE COLOR IN A FEW OF THE PHOTOS–THE HAT IS UNIFORM IN COLOR–BLACK.
