This is a beautiful 1950s bandeau cocktail hat custom made by famed milliner Laddie Northridge. It is beautifully made in a sophisticated caplet style with shaped suaves of pink, yellow and an olive-brown velvet, with the pink and yellow velvet elements falling in a trail bow to one side. It is all that you would expect of a custom made piece, the detailing is stunning, hand made coordinating hat pins sit to the back. There is an inner grosgrain banding and the original milliners label: “Custom Made Laddie Northridge, 15 West 57th Street, Avenue, New York”. Excellent vintage condition, totally clean and wearable.
