Exquisite hat, very much in the style of the Dion New Look, true vintage and a real treasure! Black straw, with a velvet bound wire edge and cage inside that can be moulded to fit the head. In picture 3, you can see the back of the hat, where it would perch on the head. The detailing of the two sides of the hat are beautiful, and certainly the work of a true craftsman or woman. Sadly, there is no label, but certainly an expensive hat in its time (picture 9 shows where the label once was, slight glue marks, but completely unnoticeable when worn) Slightly misshapen with storage, but could be steamed to reshape.
