Original 1920s USA, ladies cloche hat. An original twenties brimmed cloche from 1920s, USA. Made by’The French Room’, Boston, highly regarded milliners of the period. This is an exceptional cloche, formed in black very fine Milan straw with a felt twisted banding and cellophane roses falling to the side. With a beautifully shaped split side brim brought to an asymmetric falling shape in iconic cloche style. The silk lining is complete and has the French Room Deco label. A very rare and unusual detailed original cloche. In excellent vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Of an average ladies head size, approx.
