1940s USA, Original’New York Creations’ stunning roses and ribbons tilt. This beautifully made and detailed tilt is original and from the 1940s. The tilt hat is in an ivory woven straw, it is banded with a green ribbon that ties in a falling bow to the back. Ribbons in pinks and green sit all around the front and across the top are the most beautiful millinery roses foliage and grapes. It is beautifully shaped sitting high and falling low to the front. A fine veil falls to the front (very minor breaks but so fine they hardly notice). It is secured with a hat elastic to the back. The inner lining is in a matching ivory silk. A stunning and stylish 1940s tilt hat in excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Of One Size as it is worn tilted at the front of the head.
