Here is a rare 1920s flapper hat in a skull cap w/helmet shape. An estate find, not sure what the gold-colored fabric is on the outside but has been embroidered with gold and cream cording or thread and also brown chenille thread or cord in an Art Deco design. It is in very good condition for its age, with some general signs of wear as is to be expected from a piece of this age. It measures when laid flat 9.5″ inches across the bottom edge and 7.25″ inches from the bottom of the ear panel to the top of the hat. It is an absolutely gorgeous piece and it is rare to find a piece like this anymore. Please see photos and please let us know if you have questions.
