1940s Ladies high quality asymmetric day hat. A beautiful soft fine brushed felt hat just oozing forties elegance from 1940s England with fabulous millinery styling and asymmetric detailing. The felt is a rich aubergine and is expertly moulded into this fabulous pointed crown hat, with a rolled and turned up brim and knotted low asymmetric side. Coordinating feathers sit across the front rising from the knot at the long low side. The feathers are in three waves, coordinating wisps and pheasant feathers in clusters. This beautiful forties statement is a hand-made, super high quality, milliners bespoke piece. The skill in shaping this hat is exceptional. To the back sits an amber coloured original hat pin (included). It is incredible from every angle, looks stunning when worn – definitely a rarity not to be missed, they don’t come along like this very often.
