An elaborate antique original 1890s beige horsehair straw hat. The hat is designed in a wide ruffle pattern. It is trimmed with tan appliques and hanging straw beads. The inside crown is lined with silk. The hat would be worn on top of the head and held in place with a hat pin. The hat is in very good condition. There is some splitting on the silk lining.
