Vintage 1960s Bes-Ben pillbox cocktail hat with veil. As one would expect from the famous House of Bes-Ben this is an extraordinary hat. Formed in a topper style, bright teal feathers cover the entire hat, metal cicadas (quite a favourite of Bes-Ben) are used to make a chimney top and to adorn all of the sides. A fishnet veil completes the look falling to the front. To the interior is a black lining, the original milliners label and inner combs to secure the hat for the wearer. It is in excellent vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. It is of a medium ladies head size approx.
