French 1950s ladies’New Look’ picture hat. A stunning original French 1950s ladies’New Look’ picture hat. This is an exceptional 1950s New Look hat from Paris, France. Formed in a highly brushed fur felt in a shade of pale teal. It is an ultra wide picture hat and a very rare survivor indeed. A coveted collectors hat. The interior has an inner grosgrain banding, silk lining and elastic to secure. It may be worn straight or at a jaunty tilt. This style is very easy to wear, it will always look elegant and fit well to the head. Of one size as the elastic secures. In excellent condition, clean and totally wearable.
