VTG Madame Alexander 14 Blonde Little Women Doll + RICHARD ORIGINAL Hat, Snood
Offered here is a lovely vintage Madame Alexander Little Women doll redressed in a vintage pink and white lace party dress, with added “Richard Originals” handmade wide brim pink straw hat with flowers and pink net accents. The hat has the maker’s label in the crown; see photo. This lovely vintage doll has her original braided blonde, stitched wig with bangs, pulled back at the nape of her neck and tucked in a vintage doll snood. These doll snoods are extremely hard to find — as rare as hen’s teeth! She wears vintage black ankle tie shoes, has vintage panties, and a short lace slip which makes her dress strut nicely. Her vintage pink dress is quite old and does show some signs of fading from time. IT has the most beautiful vintage lace trimming the skirt, the 3/4 length sleeves and bodice. I estimate that this doll dates from the early 1950s. She has the “tiny hands” of this size MA doll body, with open and close eyes, and all her lashes. NOTE: She will come to you with the powder pink metal doll stand so that she will be ready for display on arrival. She will come to you insured and with signature confirmation. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. This doll has been part of my personal collection, kept in a darkened doll room in a display case and never played with.
