A very opulent , genuine antique French millinery ornament, from the WWI era, post Edwardian, and was long ago worn on the Paris stage as a head dressing in the hair. Lush and long and super fine and full, butter hued, scarce Bird Of Paradise plumes array and spray over the head and face, cascading and moving with every slight wisp of air. Attached to a very large antique jeweled ornament, a patinated brass or golden metal, fancy embossing and lots of glittering and sparkling rhinestones. There were silk ties but they have been removed as they were damaged. There is a remnant of a clip also. Lovely to attach to a bandeau or clip and wear in your hair, add to your own French Edwardian hat, or just to display and love. If you love the era of The Titanic and the fashions of Downton Abbey, this is a rare find. The pictures tell the rest of the story….. A rare find for the serious millinery and feather collector.
