The hat is made of black silk millinery velvet with two wired points like “wings”, and cloche crown. In front are gorgeous emerald green bird of paradise plumes that swoop gently upwards, wrapped in a bottle green silk velvet sheath and topped with a jaunty bird spike with green and black silk braided circlets. The hat has noted wear, but the plumes are amazing. The plumes alone are worth having! A wonderful gift for the millinery collector and antique hat lover.
