Antique Edwardian era velvet hat with ostrich feathers and chenille trim. Body is a beautiful chocolate brown velvet with brown ostrich feathers around the whole crown; trim is brown and blue ostrich plume feathers as well as brown and blue pipe cleaners style chenille. Interior is a black silk drawn together at the center. Overall diameter as shown (left to right) is 12.5 inches; overall diameter front to back is 13.5 inches; head opening (interior) circumference is about 23.5 inches. Overall very nice for its age, some light wear and marks; a bit of plume damage; interior lining has thread damage at gathered center. Local pick-up is always an option.
