THE BRIM IS IN STRAW AND IS WIRED AND TURNED UP WITH SPIRALS OF STRAW WITH GOLD LAME STITCHING TRIMMING AROUND. I SUSPECT THAT THIS PIECE ORIGINALLY HAD A LINING, NO LINING FOUND. THE INNER BUCKRAM SHOWS SMALL BREAKAGE. I PERSONALLY WOULD ADD A NEW LINING. SMALL DUST FROM ESTATE STORAGE. SILK TAFFETA IS STRONG AND NOT BREAKING. Our business name is ANTIQUE WARDROBE.
