Made of plush brown/black rabbit fur, this vintage Bonwit Teller hat was designed by Madcaps of Paris/New York. Circa 1960, it is perfect example of mid-century hippy style with the puffy beret design. Stands 8″ high and opening is 9″ across. Comes it its original violet covered hat box. Box shows a little wear, shown in photos. Hat is in excellent condition with shiny, brown/black fur and nylon interior. Some are cherished pieces from my Grandmother, who taught me the love of collecting. Many have come from estate sales, tag sales and shops. Some have been worn, some barely worn and some not at all.
