An original mid 19th C Civil War era elaborate lady’s hat, rare to find style. Created in an odd color, a taupe/grey body with muted grey ribbon ties. Ecru lace overlays the front and surrounds to the back. The trim is quite unique and just exquisite, glass beads wired to be a flower, large faux pearls, and dangling clear beads in the front. In overall very very good condition. The ties ribbon has some deterioration. With a serious examination, I dont believe any of the trim is missing, including the lovely very glass pointy teardrops.
