Wonderful early ladies winter bonnet. Fashioned of a deep dark green. With black silk ribbons trims details. A natural fiber yarn in a double layer. With inside a closer hand work for warmth. Bottom has a double row slight flounce with 2 rows of a dainty fine black hand work decoration. Top of bonnet has a double row of thick dense yarn running down to back. On inside you can see this is an additional crown section. 5 inches of this need to be resewn. The trims in this section show wear and some are loose. Also has ribbons throughout this area. The silk ribbons and chin ties show aging and wear. I have several early black silk ribbons I will include for using for replacement if you should want to use. Width 9 inches thru the center. Stunning early bonnet with some wear aging. Needing a bit of stitching. Including a bundle of early black ribbons. Feel free to ask any questions.
