Here is a cotton women’s bonnet. Taffeta plaid (green brown, yellow, white) ribbon. Brown and pink lace. One visible area of damage. (see photos for details). This is a small size bonnet. The back is shaped by two pleats. These could be removed to enlarge the hat. Remnants of ribbons to tie under chin, see photos for details. Wire around bonnet opening is stitched to brim, end of wire, protrudes on one side (see photos). The bonnet is 12 around the bottom edge (excluding the brim).
