The hat is made of black straw. It is trimmed with a large spray of blue flowers, black and blue feathers. One of the feathers is decorated with black sequins. The hat is also trimmed with black satin and black net lace. It is in very good condition, there are no breaks in the straw. Head is worn on top pf the head and would be held in place with a hat pin.
