ANTIQUE DRESS HAT 1915’s VELVET HAT TAPE LACE WIDE BRIM MUSEUM DE-ACCESSIONED LABEL MCNULTY & CO. 1915’s large tan velvet wide brimmed hat adorned with tape lace that has been de-accessioned from Rochester Historical Society museum collection. The inside has a silk lining and attached with it’s original string museum identification catalog tag. Inner label reads: McNulty & Co. Ladies Hatters, Rochester, N. Brim is adorned with a white tape lace, and the underside has a net lace covering and a puff of netting at back of hat. This hat sits on top of head. Underside rim is trimmed with black velvet. Hat has wire insert in brim and in crown. The hat is in good condition. Some damage, no holes, no repairs. Slight surface soiling on top of hat’s velvet. Interior circumference – approx.
