Original 1910s ladies bicorn cloche hat. With French Belle Epoque Napoleonic influences. 1910s Bicorn cloche / toque hat, Edwardian. The images say it all, this is a truly exceptional cloche. The detailing and millinery skill displayed in this Edwardian cloche lets us know that a master of millinery craft has been at work. Constructed in a ribbed straw with turn up front and back brims displaying intricate ribbon work. The hat shape is Napoleonic and wears beautifully. Edges are carefully sewn with matching silk chiffon as with the inner brim. A soft feather trim sits to the side. Excellent vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Of a Medium size, approx.
