A fabulous 1860s antique brown velvet bonnet accented with metallic lace and spigs of brown feathers. The bonnet has all of its original trimmings and long silk chin streamer ribbon ties. The inside brim is lavishly decorated with gathered blue satin and lined with metallic lace. This bonnet is in very good and sturdy condition. Some major tears to the silk streamer ties. White silk inner lining that has begun to shred. Some detachment of metallic lace, an easy fix. INSIDE 1/2 MOON CIRCUMFERENCE approx. 6 front to back.
