These hat came from one of Bill Cunningham’s best friends fellow photographer Ray Solowinski and his wife Life Magazine Model Brynne. Ray also had a studio located at Carnegie Hall and originally Bill Cunningham worked for Ray in the early 1950s. In fact, we have a collection up right now (ending tonight) of handwritten letters from Bill Cunningham. Letters from Bill to Ray and Brynne. We also have a collection of vintage 1950s camera negatives of all his different hats. These may be very early designs. One has the William J Label. Condition is as shown.
