1940s USA, Original’Katz Exclusive Millinery’ waving brimmed tilt with exceptional detailing. This beautifully made and detailed tilt is original and from the 1940s. The black finely woven base is formed beautifully with a nicely shaped low crown with a wide waving brim and a V back which makes it very secure when worn. Satin ribbon triangles are interspersed around the brim, a large velvet bow sits at the V and to the front spectacular millinery leaves and roses create the ultimate forties feminine statement. The millinery workmanship is exceptional. There is an inner grosgrain ribbon banding, with the original milliners labels. A stunning, stylish, 1940s tilt. It is in excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Of One Size as it is worn tilted at the front of the head, sized 22.5 inches.
