This beautiful Edwardian hat is in wonderful antique condition. The blue is a beautiful dusty tone and the flowers are many shades of pink. Please examine the flowers, berries, and leaves closely in the photos. They are beautiful and difficult to describe. It has the slightly crushed muffin top so popular from this time period. The wide brim in front is folded up and held in place with wire. Piece folds up in the back. The brim is 3 1/4″ high in front at the center, it’s 1 1/2″ high in back. The lining is black silk and in very good condition. Stitched King Bee Hat, St Louis. Along with a bee and crown! Hat measures 23 1/2 around inside. Normal for this time period. Top is 9″ across, overall 13″-14 across. The hat is in great condition. The fibers are strong and the metal wire is tight. I’m not sure what fabric the blue material is, it’s like a raffia or linen. It has a lot of shine. On the top thee is few broken threads. And a very faint hard. To see water mark. Please see photos for condition of top. This can most definitively be worn.
