CHRISTIAN DIOR Vtg 50s 60s Asymmetric PINK Purple SATIN HAT Turban Cloche 7/22. This wonderful late 1950s to early 1960s hat is from my personal collection and is truly wonderful. Its like a 20s cloche hat but with an asymmetric twist. As with most pieces Ive kept in my collection, I’ve never worn this beautiful piece. Wonderful layers of pink and purple satin fabrics, weighty and beautifully pleated and draped and fashioned into an asymmetrical turban – turban with a twist. The loveliest of bows on the back left. Grosgrain ribbon around the inside. A truly wearable piece of art! Christian Dior Chapeaux designer label. Measures approximately 22 along the inside circumference. Tagged a size 22.
