Extravagant 1950s High Fashion Urbi et Orbi Ladies Feather Hat in its Original Box. This millinery was located in Motachi, Yokohama. The box has this information in the cartouches of the papered on the outside. The box is huge measuring 17 wide and 8 tall. The hat is extraordinary with many beautiful and colorful showing feathers, including purplish deep blue feathers in the center of the top. Measures about 12 across. There are four large whole feathers on the very top, gathered together by a 10 rhinestone clasp. In remarkable condition for its nearly 70 years of age.
