Original French 1920s Helmet Cloche hat -‘Georgette Rys’ 22 Rue des Capucines, Paris. A very sophisticated black velvet and gold and black lame hooped evening helmet cloche. This is an incredibly beautiful and unusual helmet cloche, with a rounded helmet shaped crown and a stitched pleat to one size. Lined in black satin with the makers label stitched into the crown. Of a medium ladies head size, approx. It is accompanied by a fabulous black and gold lame evening clutch handbag. Both are in excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable/usable. The clutch is not a direct match with the hat lame, but they came together from Paris and do look stunning together. So we will not be the ones to part them.
