It has the famous Jack McConnell label with a red feather peeking out – signifying one-of-a-kind. The hat is simply stunning covered in feathers of pink, lilac, and aqua. The hat measures 16″ across the wool felt base with a 2″ overhang of feathers. The hat is with it’s original box which is approximately 18″ in diameter and 9″ deep. The box is shiny black with silver trim and Jack McConnell’s signature in silver on the top. It’s becoming harder to find these red feather hats with their original boxes since once they are owned, they are not often resold. Once described as “King of the Milliners”, legendary Jack McConnell created hats for movie stars and royalty. Of his many beautiful styles, he is most famous for his fantastic feathered creations. The red feather label hats are no longer created since Jack McConnell’s death in 2005 – making them highly sought after treasures by collectors.
