1930s French ladies day hat in black fine felt and woven raffia. 1930s French original black fine felt chimney crowned and raffia brimmed ladies day hat. With a tall shaped crown adorned with millinery flowers in hues of deep pink. A satin ribbon surrounds the crown and then falls into a short trail at the back. The brim is of woven raffia and is shaped beautifully. Hat Elastic to hold. Original 1930s French millinery at its very best, wonderful from every aspect. In excellent true vintage condition, it is one-size being a tilt hat, sitting high on the crown tilting forwards. Eminently suitable for a ladies average/medium sized head.
