1940s USA, Original’The Town Hat Shop’ stunning rose, feather and veiled tilt. This beautifully made and detailed tilt is original and from the 1940s. The tilt hat is formed in a fine soft black felt in a mini tilt topper style, it falls nicely brimmed to the front and shaped down at the back, it is ribbon edged. A matching felt strap secures the tilt to the back. There are so many beautiful details: An incredible millinery flower/rose sits to the front it is in a vivid fuchsia shade with hints or orange with green foliage. Around the brim bright pink marabou soft feathers sit together with ruffled matching tulle and other coordinating feathers. A lovely coloured veil falls to the front. A stunning and stylish 1940s tilt hat in excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Of One Size as it is worn tilted at the front of the head.
