This listing is for my authentic vintage Christian Dior ladies summer hat. Such a beautiful little piece, dating by the label it is from the earlier part of the 1950’s, so rather rare to come by. It’s made from a delicate woven straw that has a beautiful “lampshade” form. This shape was used frequently by Dior during the early to mid-50s and similar designs can be found in advertisements on Pinterest – I have included a couple of examples. It is finished in the back with ballet slipper style pink lacing and bow. Beautiful condition throughout has been well cared for and likey rarely worn.
