1940s Ladies beautifully sculpted fine felt day hat. A beautiful soft fine felt hat just oozing forties elegance from 1940s USA. Made by the highly regarded milliners, Luetta Models. The felt is soft and black, it is beautifully shaped pinched to the centre front and shaped wide into sculpted sides. A small round crown is wired and points and crosses at the back. At the front the felt rises in two bow points and has a circle of soft mink fur. There is an inner grosgrain banding and milliners label. Of a medium head size, the wired crown bends to fit. In excellent true vintage condition, clean and totally wearable. Please home in on all of our images for the finest of details.
