A rare find, an original latter Victorian era lady’s bonnet / hat that is in very good to excellent condition. Created in the most luxurious shade of purple intricately ruffled straw and adorned with 2 different types of silk chiffon flowers. A small bonnet that sits slanted on the top of the head. There is a narrow darker purple velvet band that separates the outside straw from the inside lining. Inside lining is silk with a drawstring while some is deteriorating however, the inner stamped satin area is in excellent condition. 11″ wide x 8.5″ from front to back. A very rare find!
