Vintage Purple & Lavender Seed Beads Fringed Skull Cap Cloche Hat Flapper Era. For consideration is this vintage fringed skull cap or cloche hat (a woman’s close-fitting bell-shaped hat), similar to those worn in the flapper era featuring purple beads and lavender seed beads. The front fringes measure 1¼ inches long and the longer fringes measure 3¼ inches long with all fringes present. The design is a lovely diamond pattern with a 2 inch band around the edge. While lying flat and relaxed, it measures 10 inches across and 6½ inches tall not including the fringe. There is no makers mark and it is in beautiful vintage condition with no problems noted.
