This is a truly incredible tilt hat from the 1940s! The color is strikingly deep, royal purple, and the hat is made out of a nubby fur felt. There is a gorgeous gold-hued buckle decoration in front, and a matching purple jersey-type fabric is draped across the hat and cascades in a train down the back. It also comes with the original matching hat pin. Overall, a stunning vintage piece! Due to the tilt style, this hat can fit a wide range of head sizes. All sales are final! This hat is in excellent condition. The only flaws are minor: (1) Some overall light fading/staining to the draped fabric (much of this is hidden by the pleats) (2) A couple of scattered minuscule bald spots on the fur felt, and a tiny spot of brown staining on the front of the brim.
