Offering two antique Edwardian hat pins ca. These each measure a bit over 13 in length from their steel shafts to the top of their amber honey colored heads. The heads are just over 2.5 in length and are an early, hard thermoplastic in which the steel pins were hot bedded. The hatpins belonged to my great aunt and are in good condition with just a bit of tarnish on the very sharp needles. The plastic heads are in fine shape with no chips or damage. Where the needle and the head meet, directly below the head, is a tiny brass ring. One hat pin is missing this tiny ring.
