He was one of our foremost milliners from 1950’s to the 1990’s, and this label has been identified as circa 1960’s. Highest quality black straw wide brim with gorgeous 8 red silk rose flower and black velvet hat band. Brim measures 5-1/2″, crown 4″, black velvet band 2-1/2″, 21-1/2″ inner hat band. He initially supplied custom made hats to Chandra and to Saks 5th Avenue, but the costs involved in hand making hats caused him to turn to more cost effective production methods.
