Wonderful original 1840s to 1850s Victorian silk velvet bonnet is in a great olive green shade which shines chartreuse in some light. In fully wearable condition, this bonnet amazingly has it’s color matched silk ribbons and ties intact! The silk ribbon runs all around the edge of the pleated ruffle which also forms the back and then creates the long ties in front. One length of the ribbon connecting to the back ruffle needs a few stitches to reattach it. All hand sewn, this bonnet is lined in soft brown buckram.
