This is a one of a kind Victorian straw ladies hat. It has old African violet millinery flowers, black and faded purple ostrich plumes, violet wide velvet ribbon, black tulle, and green foliage. It is 18 inches in diameter. The crown is 3 inches high. The crown is 8 inches in diameter. The brim is 5 1/4 inches wide. The inside measures about 21 inches around. The inside crown is lined with a black satin printed fabric. It is hand stitched and underneath the fabric is old paper lining with a crest emblem. This hat is in extremely good condition. There is nothing wrong with it that I would say had excess wear or aging. It does have much fading on both the feathers and flowers. It has dust and some of the straw has broken away on different areas around the hat. It is not in perfect and pristine condition. It shows the typical signs of age.
